According to CBS Sports, South Carolina announced on Thursday that Frank Martin has been suspended for the final regular season game.

Citing “inappropriate verbal communication” with an athlete, athletic director Ray Tanner had no choice but to sit Martin down for the game against Mississippi State.

Although Martin has been known for his energetic outbursts, he has never been suspended prior to this occasion. After upsetting Kentucky, and playing a tough first half against Florida, South Carolina was attempting to pull off a tremendous feat.

However, the second half did not go so well for South Carolina. It was clear early on that Florida was ready to run away from the Gamecocks.

Here is an excerpt via CBS Sports- Martin was caught on camera during Tuesday's loss to Florida cussing at freshman guard Duane Notice -- apparently yelling "Answer the f-cking question, a--hole!"

It's been a rough two years for the Gamecocks since Martin has arrived.

South Carolina is (11-19, 4-13) in the SEC.
