The invitation is extended to all those who are interested in helping to get Nathan Deal elected as Governor of Georgia.
Numbers reported by "Poll Watch" writer, Bruce Drake, show that Nathan Deal is up in the polls by 49% to Roy Barnes' 38%.
Early voting will begin on September 20th here in Fayette County. You can vote only at the Voter Registration Office in Fayetteville from September 20th - October 29th from 8AM until 5PM. Starting October 25th through 29th, those in Fayette County can also vote at the Peachtree City and Tyrone Libraries.
Absentee ballots should be in the mail in a few days and you can return them at any time before November 2, 2010 - the day of the General Election. On Election Day, you can only vote in your designated precinct from 7 AM to 7PM; and there will be no voting on Monday, November 1st the day before the General Election.
Those who share the values of the Tea Party are invited to attend the September 20th meeting no matter your party affiliation or political persuasion as long as you have a goal of seeing real change take place in our local, state, and national government.
If you are tired of too much government, too much spending, too many taxes; and too much interference in your life by those in Washington, then you are welcome. The Tea Party endorses Nathan Deal for Governor of Georgia and this will be a planning and strategy session.
