The end may be near for “Teen Mom 2” because of the wild behavior of Jenelle Evans, one of the shows stars. According to a Jan. 29 New York Post article, Evans is becoming a liability for the show and MTV is considering pulling the plug on the series to get distance from her.
Episode 11 of the third season of the series aired on Jan. 28. Jenelle admitted not knowing who her son’s father is on this episode. Unfortunately, that’s just the beginning of the drama with Evans. Jenelle, 21, has been arrested several times for drug charges, was forced to give up custody of her child, posed nude and had several very public relationship blowups.
Evans got married and pregnant at the end of 2012. Last week, she announced she was in the midst of a miscarriage and demanded a divorce on Twitter. Then she tweeted she was at a bar with her ex-fiancé hours later.
Sources say Jenelle is bad publicity for MTV – especially since they conceived the show as a cautionary tale of the hardships of becoming a mother too young. The show has already filmed season four. The original “Teen Mom” series ended in October.
