"Teen Mom" star Jenelle Evans is reportedly back in rehab, this time for a heroine addiction. A source tells RadarOnline on Feb. 26 the 21-year-old mother voluntarily checked into rehab after her life spiraled out of control recently. "(Jenelle) is seeking treatment for her drug addiction issues and related stresses stemming from her tumultuous last few months,” a source close to the MTV reality star is quoted as saying.
Is Teen Mom 2 getting cancelled? MTV breaks silence
Jenelle's stint in rehab follows a marriage that lasted less than two months, a public cry for divorce following accusations of cheating, a pregnancy that ended with a miscarriage, and apparently a struggle with heroine abuse. "She has been doing drugs, and she really wants to stop and live a clean life for herself and for her son Jace,” a friend reveals.
As Examiner.com previously reported, MTV will air "Teen Mom 2" Season 4 featuring Jenelle Evans. However, there have been reports that a string of recent incidents -- playing out in public -- may lead the cable network to cancel any future seasons of the reality show. In a statement to Examiner, a spokesperson for MTV says the network has made no decision on the future of Teen Mom 2. "No decision has been made yet regarding a fifth season of 'Teen Mom 2."
MTV is currently airing new episodes of "Teen Mom 2" Season 4 on Monday nights.
