"Kimye," it turns out, might be an appropriate name for the baby that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expected, as it sounds feminine. The couple, it seems, is expecting a girl, a source close to the reality TV star and her musician boyfriend said on Saturday.
The anonymous source said,
They're over the moon! Kanye always wanted a girl.
Kardashian, 32, and West, 35, began dating in April of last year; on Dec. 30, the couple announced they were expecting a child, with West announcing it first onstage in Atlantic City.
The couple's daughter is due in July. There is still hope that Kardashian's divorce to basketball star Kris Humphries will be final by then. The next court date in the contentious court case -- Humphries insists he wants an annulment -- is May 6.
To be clear, neither Kim nor Kanye has confirmed the baby’s gender.
Kardashian and West's baby girl will join cousins Mason, 3, and Penelope, 7 months, of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's brood, as members of the Kardashian clan. Kim, however, has said that it was unlikely that her new baby would ever appear on the series, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."
If cousin Penelope is any example of what Kimye might expect, Kim and Kanye's daughter will want for nothing. On Feb. 22, Kim shared a photo on Instagram showing a baby-sized purse. However, the bag was a tiny little Balenciaga bag which is currently priced at an amazing $345.
Spoilage, much?
