Seattle Sounders FC(11-4-2, 35 points) will be looking to quickly get back to their winning ways when they take on I -5 rival Portland Timbers( 4-9-5, 21points) in Wednesdays Lamar U.S. Open quarterfinal match at the Star Fire Soccer Stadium
The Sounders are looking to rebound from a lack luster 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Vancouver Whitecaps in BC. The Sounders were missing six starters for various reasons, and it showed with the offense generating just two shots on goal against the Whitecaps.
Except for Clint Dempsey most of the missing starters will be available for Wednesday's clash with the Portland Timbers.
