Rodney Greiling is getting buzz in pro soccer circles for his height and quickness, and his recent performance for the Sounders FC Academy U17-18 team at the SUM Cup in Florida. Greiling came to the Sounders Academy via Emerald City FC M'92 Green. He will be a senior this year at Kentwood High School.
The MLS Insider blog says of Greiling: "I’m not sure what his height is but he was definitely one of the “big boys” (as his teammates liked to call him) out there and he certainly towered over most members of the opposition and his back line. And even though he’s super-sized he’s still super-quick; definitely one to watch."
The Sounders FC Academy teams kick off their first season in the USSDA with a home double header on October 2, 2010 at Starfire. The U 15-16's play Nomad SC at 12 noon, and the U 17-18's play the same club at their age level at 2:00 PM.

Yeah.....not impressed. Good luck to him but there are much better young keepers out there.
Well, you don't have to be the 'finished product' at age 17. Just have 'potential.' Obviously more than one coach thinks he does...
wow...I'm sure he's good...but terrible highlight film. I'm an over 30 gk and I look better way than that. Whoever made that highlight film is a wanker...shots of him punting into nowhere and simple distributions???? Good luck to the kid, and please get a better promoter.
WOW tough crowed. He has potential if he that tall and still growing he going to be a monster. With that height and quickness the can cover the net with ease. The sounder need to keep him in your system.
