VORHEES, NJ – After the Soul just traded for OG Duke Robinson about a week before the Talons game, the team has traded him to the San Jose SaberCarts for DE Julius Williams.

Williams, 28, is a rookie from the University of Connecticut. He now joins a defense that is primarily led by DB Joe Goosby.

“We are fortunate to get another quality pass rushers,” Head coach Clint Dolezel said in a statement. “He has NFL experience and we liked what we have seen on film. Our game is about quickness and strength. He will definitely help give us a boost in that key area.”

In addition to the player trade, the Soul have received future considerations from the LA Kiss, Iowa Barnstormers and the San Jose SaberCats.

The Soul are on the road for their week 13 matchup against the Tampa Bay Storm (5-6) at the Tampa Bay Times Forum on June 7th at 5:00pm ET. The series between both of the teams is 1-1. The game is catchable on ESPN 3 and Soul Insider Gazette.
