Soul Saga is a recent video game Kickstarter success (July 15th 2013) that raised over $195,000 which was well over the $60,000 goal. During the course of the Kickstarter and the latest updates, the character concepts and models went through a couple of changes.

After the Kickstarter ended, Disastercake revealed new concept art of the characters, that fans and backers of the game were a little hesitant to embrace.

Then, the art took another direction as of late, and new character models were revealed on December 7th, 2013. The latest changes, (which can be seen in the slideshow provided as well), reflect more closely to the original design. Mithos and Elise regained their colorful clothing, unlike the neutral brown tones in the 2nd design. These designs are made by an artist in Japan named, Aiko-san.

Soul Saga is a J-RPG by Diastercake which is lead by Mike Gale. It will be released for Windows PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation Vita, PS4, and Wii U. The game was also Greenlit on Steam.

What do you think of the new Mithos and Elise designs?
