PHILADELPHIA, PA - The AFL announced on Tuesday that QB Dan Raudabaugh has been named Russell Athletic offensive player of the week for week 5.

Raudabaugh, 27, broke the AFL record in completion percentage at 90%. The record was previously held by his current head coach, Clint Dolezel.

In addition to Raudabaugh having a career night, he went 20-22, 254 yards and 7 touchdowns. Raudabaugh is currently tied with former Soul QB Tony Graziani at 225 total passing touchdowns in the team's franchise.

Dan released a statement regarding his honorable award.

“I’m happy to receive this award,” Dan Raudabaugh said in a press release. “But it was a team effort for me to be able to get this. This award reflects the efforts of us as a team and I really have to say thank you to my teammates for putting me into this position.”

The Soul will play their home opener against the Jacksonville Sharks this Saturday at 7:00 pm at the Wells Fargo Center. This great performance from Dan Raudabaugh is expected to continue on.
