Soul Asylum is scheduled to rock the State Theatre on Tuesday, February 12, 2013. The music is scheduled to start at 8PM and doors will open at 7PM. Miles Nielsen and the Rusted Hearts are set to open the show headlined by the Grammy Award winning band out of Minnesota.
Miles Nielsen and the Rusted Hearts will represent the Midwest Sound. The band blends rock, jam music, alt roots and Americana to create a sound all their own. They have had the pleasure of opening for Moe, Cake and now Soul Asylum. You can learn more about this band at their website.
Soul Asylum earned a Grammy Award for their hit single “Runaway Train.” The band that formed in 1983 is still at it touring behind their latest release “Delayed Reaction.” The band has some new sons out like "Gravity," "String of Pearls" and more. The State Theatre will offer an intimate venue to see and hear Soul Asylum. The venue will offer their full restaurant menu and will have multiple bars open to serve your favorite beverages.
