Sopi Photography debuts its Still Documentary series 'Great Black Authors' at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black History. Brooklyn Based Documentary Photojournalist, Beverly Terry has compiled a group of images she's been photographing for years to create this historic photographic piece of work showcasing some of our most prolific writers in literary history. The series is slated for release in 2011.

The Schomburg Center hasn't displayed a show of this magnitude of various photographic histories in one show in over 11 years, yet they guarantee this show has something to offer to the masses coming from all walks of life.
The show will be on display at the Schomburg Center until June 30, 2011.
The first major photographic exhibit at the institution in over 11 years is curated by Howard Dodson, Mary F. Yearwood and Deborah Willis Funded in part by New York State Senator Bill Perkins ( D- 30th District )
