Sophia: Heal oil spill by finding balance

Part 2 of 4-part series with Wisdom Teacher Sophia.

MR: Sophia, you were saying how when people feel like we’re should-ing them, there is kind of heaviness in trying to work towards a healed Earth now. How might we get closer to believing that a healthy Earth is attainable and within our reach?

Sophia: So let’s say that everything here has its equal and opposite counterpart. Let’s say the oil spill right now--It’s very easy to put our focus on all of this toxicity that is in our oceans, and to really put our focus there and keep our focus there. Let me tell you, truth, or wisdom, comes from a balanced perspective. Any time there is something that is toxic, there is equally something that is non-toxic in the world. So, for all of those who are concerned with healing the earth, how we heal the earth is we bring balance to perspective. In seeing the oil spill, I ask all of those who are wanting balance and wanting to heal here: I ask you to look for the opposite of the oil spill.

What is a big, global happening right now? It could be the green movement, it could be all of the assistance we are giving to those in Haiti, it could be anything. What is the equal and opposite thing of gifting that we as humans are creating? Because we as humans have created that toxic spill. So, what are we doing that equals-- what is the opposite of that toxic spill, and how do we focus our attention on that so that we bring balance?

And all of your readers understand that balance is where true wisdom comes from. We don’t find the solution to the oil spill by focusing on the oil spill over and over again. We find balance by looking to its polar opposite and feeling that all things are equal here.

All things Yin, or dark, have an equal and powerful counterpart which is Yang. So as healers, when we balance, we will begin to find the answers, for the answer is in balance. So you’re asking me what is the answer; how do we find healing on this earth? We find healing through balancing the poles. And balancing the poles means we don’t get sucked into fear. We equal that out in love.

No longer pointing fingers

So, let me just use the oil spill as an example. Feel all of the anger and all of the rage that comes through our bodies as healers when we think of all of those who took part in allowing this oil spill to happen. There is a part of us that says, “Wrong! Bad! We must fix it.” So here is the balance (and I know this is esoteric, and I apologize): balance, healing, comes when we send light, love and healing to those who are causing or creating the oil spill.

That’s hard to do, right? So all of those executives who are squirming right now, and the world is pointing their finger at them, shaking their finger at them and saying bad, bad, bad you--imagine as healers we send them love.

As we send love to that which is toxic, that’s how we find solutions. That’s how we heal the Earth. We send love to all things that are dark. To all beings that are creating dark. To all beings that are toxic.

Healing the toxicity of fast food

So let’s use a random example. Let’s think of all those around the world (Ok, so here’s me being politically incorrect) eating McDonald’s food. Let’s say eating fast food 3-4 times a week, right? Part of us, when we feel that, we go “Oh!” We feel so bad and say, “Wrong.”

Imagine if we now say, “I am going to send love to every single person who is forced to eat McDonald’s out of economic circumstance, out of not having the availability of fresh fruits and vegetables and food around them. So I’m going to send love through that corporation that is McDonald’s, and I myself am going to lift some of that toxic off of fast food.” Because the more we send love to everyone who is choosing toxic thoughts, toxic choices, the more they have the opportunity to choose something else. So every time we think, “Bad!” I want you to send love, to send light, to send healing and trust to everything we judge that is toxic. That’s how we heal this planet.
