The Facebook page for Sony UK posted a strange, ambiguous picture in the early morning hours of March 21 that is leaving the electronics-loving world in a bit of a speculation frenzy, especially as far as the gamers are concerned. It’s red, it’s shiny, it looks like a robotic egg, and the only teaser Sony has given along with it is the cryptic words, “It’s coming...”
It’s totally vague, but what does it mean?
Could this shiny, red, robotic egg-shaped thing possibly be related to something to do with Sony’s PlayStation 4? That’s what some Facebookers are already theorizing.
“If that is the PS4 then I am no longer a fan,” wrote one person on Sony UK’s page. Another dubbed it the "Sony Eggsbox 360” while others have deemed it a Sony Easter egg for something big. After all, the PS4 has yet to be unveiled physically, and with a release date for this fall, they ought to be giving us a glimpse of it sooner or later. Perhaps we’ll get to see it by Easter?
