Sony's Xperia to work with PlayStation 4

As the next-generation of gaming approaches, Sony continues to unveil more products that will be integrated with their next PlayStation, and their new smarthphone Xperia is no different.

According to a report from CVG on Tuesday, Sony introduced their newest high-end smartphone called Xperia.

It will ultimately feature a Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core 1.5 MHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 13-megapixel camera, supports LTE and 4G technologies, an Adreno 320 GPU and a five inch 1080p HD screen.

When the device is launched, they will be integrating the PlayStation Mobile portion of the phone with the PlayStation Store.

Xperia also contains Near-Field Communication (NFC) tech that allows the phone to communicate with other Sony tech such as Bravia televisions and presumably the PlayStation 4.

The communication tech right solely allows for people to display games from their phone onto their TV, but it will more than likely evolve as other tech launches.

Sony says the phone is waterproof and can maintain function even after up to 30 minutes of being submerged in water, and its battery will last around 11 hours long.

How do you think the phone will be incorporated with the PS4?
