1994 brought us the PSone. 2000 brought us the PS2. 2006 brought us the PSone. Now finally, 2013 will bring us the PS4. It was an exciting day for all so let's not mince words. · Mark Cerny came out and introduced the PS4’s new controller, featuring a touch pad and share button, virtually looking like a natural evolution of the DualShock controller
· Unreal Engine 4 was showed off in real time
· Mark Cerny revealed his new project, Knack, which looked like a new action platformer
· Some of the features unveiled for the PS4 were multitasking, video/screen sharing, watching friends play games, sleep mode and more
· The biggest feature revealed is the integration of Gaikai, allowing you to stream games, after a small download, while the full game will continue downloading in the background
· Remote Play will allow PS4 games to be streamed to your PS Vita and supposedly tablets and other mobile devices
· Gaikai also teased that PS1, PS2, PS3, and PlayStation portable games (i.e. PS Vita and PSP) may be available to stream onto your PS4 in the future
· Guerilla showcased Killzone Shadow Fall with an onstage demo
· Drive Club was announced by Evolution Studios, a high end racing game
· Sucker Punch revealed Infamous Second Son with a quick teaser video
· David Cage, of Quantic Dream, came out and demoed a concept model for what’s graphically capable on the PS4
· Media Molecule demonstrated a tech demo they are working on involving the ability to puppet characters with the Move
· Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono unveiled their new engine, Panta Rhei and their concept game, Deep Down
· Square Enix showed off Agni’s Philosophy running on the PS4 as well as announced a Final Fantasy game will be releasing this year for the PS4
· Blizzard revealed Diablo 3 will be coming out for the PS3 and PS4, but no footage was shown
· Activision showcased some more footage of Bungie’s Destiny
· Lastly, the PS4 was teased to be releasing this Holiday
