In a press release, or more importantly a tweet, Sony Computer Entertainment has released its sales figures on the PlayStation 4, thus far. Even before releasing in Japan, worldwide sales of the PS4 come in at 5.3 million. Sales are most likely affected (negatively) to a lack of supply as compared to demand. At the same time, the competitor can be found on most shelves in abundance.
Sony also released a new television spot about PlayStation Plus. The commercial can be seen on this page. Lastly, Sony announced that two free games will become available tomorrow, one for PS3, and the other for PS Vita. Remember Me on PS3 will be available for download, once the store updates on Tuesday. The Vita title is Street Fighter x Tekken. These, of course, require a PlayStation Plus membership.
With the ongoing support of PlayStation Plus, and the growing hype of PlayStation Now, the PlayStation 4 has an endless amount of potential at the moment. The sales are showing what the customers believe in, and Japan has yet to get its hands on the console.
