Sony released the final Amazing Spider-Man 2 trailer Wednesday which focuses on the truth about Peter Parker’s (Andrew Garfield) father’s work, and friendship with Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan).

Some of the footage has already been seen in previous trailers, however much more is teased in the final one such as Jamie Foxx’s Electro and Paul Giamatti’s Rhino alter-egos, Peter’s ongoing relationship with Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) as well as the reemergence of Harry Osborn, which only means that Harry’s father, Norman (Chris Cooper), will be making an appearance.

The trailer also focuses more on the Green Goblin, looks and all, as well as the famous comic book fighting scene which pits Spider-Man, Gwen, and the Green Goblin in a confrontation leading to the "will she or will she not ?" scene famously known in the comic books.

Directed by Marc Webb, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is based on the Marvel comic book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, and is written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Jeff Pinker.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 opens in theaters May 2.
