Sony President responds to PS4 inquiry, not yet ready to speak on details (Photos)

As CES 2013 kicked off, many gaming fans knew that major video game announcements would probably the absent from this event. For the most part, this statement is absolutely correct, as Sony and Microsoft has not unveiled any major details around future developments within their gaming departments.

Nevertheless, today The Silent Chief has captured an interview with Sony President and CEO Kaz Hirai, in which a question related to the PS4 popped up. In response to a question surrounding details about the PS4, Hirai stated the following:

We’re very happy with the way that the PlayStation 3 has grown over the years. Obviously a lot of interaction with the PlayStation Vita as well,” Hirai stated. ”All of the gaming fans out there, you probably know that we don’t talk about future generation technologies until we’re ready to launch it in a big way.

As stated above, Sony is not yet ready to speak about details surrounding their next generation system, which is expected to be the PS4. It is currently speculated that both Sony and Microsoft will be revealing their next generation consoles at this year's E3 event.
