Sony's updated Vaio P Lifestyle PC

Los Angeles geeks might want to go to the Sony Style Store at the Beverly Center to check out the new Vaio P Lifestyle PC. This column gave the original Vaio P a very harsh review. The upgraded Vaio P includes more RAM, slightly better viewing angles, and a touch mouse that makes holding the device up by the screen and surfing the web possible.
The base $899 model is available in a variety of eye-popping colors and has a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, high resolution 8” 1600 x 768 screen, 2 GB RAM, and 256 GB storage. It looks jaw dropping at first--that is, until you try using it. Before you do, you might want to take some lessons in eye squinting.
They keyboard's chiclet keys actually feel a little bit more comfortable (are they slightly larger?) than the previous version's keys and typing a long essay without wanting to pull your hair out is quite possible on the updated Vaio P. The touch mouse controls right by the screen are very useful for Internet browsing when just holding the Vaio P by its screen. You can easily increase the size of the web page (control and +), so it is very viewable. I had an audience of five people watching me surf the web on the Vaio P. All I can hear in the background is "Cool!"
