Sony mentions Resistance 3 in survey

Sony recently released a survey to registered users asking about what they thought of the first two games in the series: Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2. The publisher also asked about the yet unannounced Resistance 3 with the following questions: 

Do you think there is a future version of Resistance, Resistance 3 being developed?

If it was being developed, how likely are you to purchase the future version of Resistance, Resistance 3 for the PS3?

Resistance 3 was previously leaked via a billboard ad for a future film set for a 2011 release. Resistance: Fall of Man was released in 2006 while Resistance 2 launched in 2008.
