Sony is currently looking into reports of users having issues signing in to the PlayStation Network and accessing the PlayStation Store via the PS4, according to a report today from GameSpot.

Through it’s official PlayStation Twitter account, Sony said that they are aware of the problems PS4 users are facing and they will give an update to the situation soon.

“We are aware that some PS4 users are experiencing login issues," Sony in the post to the official PlayStation Twitter account. "We're currently looking into it and will provide an update soon.”

In a tweet from the PlayStation support Twitter account, Sony said they are “investigating” the matter and said those who are having issues accessing the PSN and PlayStation Store should “try again later.”

The issues expressed in the thread following the tweet include PS4 users getting dropped of their WiFi and the system not recognizing PS Plus accounts.

The connectivity issues comes just a few days after Sony released a system update for the PS4 that would allow the next-gen console to support 7.1 surround sound headsets.
