Sony giving free credits to 'loyal' Playstation Network users

Sony has a lot going on right now, touting their future sales and possibly announcing the Playstation 4 shortly. They're also giving away free money, for those who use the Playstation Network that is.

Various Playstation Network users logged into their accounts this morning and found they had an extra $10 laying around. Other users have been seeing an extra $5 in their accounts, so it looks like both free and paid PSN users are getting the kick back.

The $10 credit comes with this message: "Thank you for being a loyal customer and fan of PlayStation Network. As a token of our appreciation, we've sent you $10.00 to spend on the PlayStation Store."

The credits are for North American Playstation 3 users only, so those gamers should feel a little bit better then everyone else. There's no time frame for having to spend your newly received credits, so save them if you want or pick up some new games.

Great move by Sony, hopefully they make another good move with the Playstation Event.
