Certain PS3 owners who logged onto their systems this morning were greeted with a $10 code to be used in on the PSN. Not everyone received this message, however, but no one knows exactly who or for what reason they personally got it, so anyone could have it.
The message thanked the PS3 owners for their 'loyalty'. Though, what exactly constitutes as a 'loyal' PSN customer is unclear. Some gamers who have been on the PSN for five years hadn't received the voucher, so it's definitely not length of time. It could have been given to those who were actively making purchases, or were on PlayStation Plus for a certain time.
There have been reports that North America as a whole haven't been receiving the vouchers, but this is not confirmed. One thing is for sure, Sony is showing their appreciation in order to make tonight's PlayStation 2013 Conference as epic as possible. It's not a bad way to do so either, especially since this conference is said to make official announcements for the PS4!
Stay tuned as more information is posted on the status of these $10 code vouchers, and tonight's conference. The conference will be held tonight at 6:00 pm ET. Today's going to be a big day for PlayStation gamers!
