Several days after its release; Sony has announced that it's cutting the price of the digital download version of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes down to £24.99 ($41.99 USD).

According to post on Sony Entertainment Network and a report by VideoGamer.com, the price of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes has dropped from £29.99 ($49.47 USD) to £24.99 ($41.99 USD).

Unfortunately the Xbox One version is still being sold for £29.99.

It has been speculated that the price drop is in response from critics and fans who felt price tag was too high for what has felt like a short game. This would be the second time the game has undergone a price cut.

Meanwhile the game is being sold in America for $29.99 + tax for a hard copy or $20 for a digital copy.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be the tenth game in the official canonical and will be acting as the prologue for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The game was released on March 18 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
