LaMonica Garrett plays Deputy Sheriff Cane on “Sons of Anarchy” and spoke to Spoiler TV on Aug. 29 about what fans might expect from season six of the hit show. Here is a look at some of what Garrett said about the hit show.
Deputy Sheriff Cane was involved in two major cliffhanger moments in season five, as he arrested Tara, who was framed by her mother-in-law, and also arrested Clay, who was set up by Jax. Garrett said shooting the scene where he arrested Tara was intense because show runner Kurt Sutter actually directed that episode.
He said that the double-cross moment where his character arrested Clay was one of the moments that he has dreamed about since he started acting.
Garrett also assured fans that they would not have to wait long for things to light fire in season six of “Sons of Anarchy.” Garrett said most shows build throughout the season, but that “Sons” starts off sprinting every season. He brought up how Opie dying in the third episode was shocking and things didn’t slow down after that.
LaMonica Garrett also said that CCH Pounder from “The Shield” was appearing on “Sons of Anarchy” this season and fans should get ready because everything about season six is unknown and anything could happen.
“Sons of Anarchy” season six premieres on Sept. 10 on FX.
