Now that Donal Logue had to unexpectedly leave season six of "Sons of Anarchy" to begin filming for "Viking" a shift in leading characters had to happen, according to a Oct. 27 report of Carter Matt, and that story is taking place in making Peter Weller more prominent in the show. Weller plays Charlie Barosky, a dirty ex-cop that DA Patterson wants to use to turn on the club.
This turn of events could go either way. Barosky could find that his business venture with the Sons is more important and valuable to him than anything that Patterson could offer him to hand the MC over. Barosky holds a lot of power in his hands whether he knows it or not. While his business with SAMCRO could potentially be very lucrative for him, the Sons bring about a lot of trouble everywhere they go, whether it's intentional or not.
In the end, as the club takes on more legitimate business opportunities after getting out of guns, they could really use Charlie Barosky on their side since he has the background of law enforcement which could be very beneficial to the club. However, SAMCRO could prove to me too much trouble for Barosky and his simple protection gig with the Stockton escort service.
It is more than likely that he will play a big part in the overall end game of the season for the club. However, the direction that game goes in is in the air. Do you think that Barosky will sell out the club or do you think that his dislike for DA Patterson is enough to stick with them?
