'Sons of Anarchy' season 7 spoilers: Will Jax react to his mother's betrayal?

On Dec. 18 IDigital Times shares some major spoilers for the upcoming final season of "Sons of Anarchy." Unfortunately for fan, the way that Kurt Sutter, the creator of the hit biker drama, fans are not likely to be happy with the outcome of the final season as it sounds as if nobody is going to get what they want.

Sutter claims that the fate of Jax is going to lie heavily in the hands of DA Patterson played by CCH Pounder who will be returning for the final season. She wants Jax to be guilty despite the evidence that will exonerate him. She knows that he has motive to kill Tara and she even feared that this is what would happen if Tara didn't go into protection. I looks, to her, like her worst fears for Tara are imagined despite what the evidence proves. Jax is going to be completely off-balanced as the rage and sadness he feels of losing his "true North" sets in. Sutter says:

"I knew, ultimately, where I wanted to take Jax in the final season I wanted to remove his 'True North,' because I feel like there needs to be this major psychic and emotional shift that has to happen. What direction it will push him in we will see next season. But what happens to a guy like that now that he's lost both of the people [Opie and Tara] he loves the most?"

Sutter also shares that while it seems like that most everyone is going to die in season seven of SOA, Gemma likely isn't going to come out and tell Jax that she was the responsible party for killing Tara. The only way that it seems likely that she will admit to such a violent act is if she does it to save Jax from going to prison for her murder. Sutter also had something to say about that, too, alluding to the fact that he set the scene up so that Gemma almost disassociates during the killing, therefore, she won't admit to it because she doesn't remember she did it because she wasn't "present." While this might sounds like a viable insanity defense, there are others that can attest to the fact that she did kill Tara, others like Juice.

A minute detail, however, that many don't remember because they were so wrapped in the story is that Jax's homeless woman that always seems to be the glimmering voice of morality, saw Juice dump the murder weapons in the garbage dumpsters. This could mean that Juice could go away for murdering Tara, or at the very least the murder he did commit, Eli Roosevelt. Now that his fingerprints are all over the murder weapons, it seems just as likely that he could be blamed for Tara's murder, however, and given his previous suicide attempts, and the fact that he has already betrayed Jax and they both know it Juice could take the rap, leaving Gemma to twist in her own thoughts of knowing that she is responsible for murdering her son's one true love.

While Sutter hasn't written the seventh season yet, he does say that Gemma more than likely will die but he finds it a bit grotesque to think that Jax would be the one to kill her. If not Jax, than who else? The rest of the club loves Gemma like a mother, Tig loves her like he ought not to, and Wayne is so in love with Gemma he would likely go to any lengths to protect her, especially since he has to have a guilty conscience for telling Gemma a partial truth of information he knew which spurred the whole murder to begin with.

Season seven is going to be a long, and difficult ride, however, if Gemma doesn't die, fans are going to be beyond angry about it seeing as how many are already upset that Sutter seems to have built a showcase for his wife. Who do you think will ultimately take the fall for Tara's death?
