We’ve heard for some time now that showrunner Kurt Sutter is hard at work on season 7 of “Sons of Anarchy.” According to a March 23 report on The Epoch Times, Sutter recently talked about just what is going on in terms of story development and progress on the series’ final season.

IN one of the show creator’s YouTube videos he said he is still writing the first episode while Charles Murray is writing episode 2. He also revealed they are about halfway through the process of outlining episode 3.

“I pitched the big arcs for the season to the network and that went well,” Sutter revealed. “I think it’ll be a satisfying conclusion for fans and I feel pretty good that it’s staying on point where I always sort of envisioned our character, our hero, what his final, perhaps final, days in Charming and in terms of at least one’s as an audience we would see.”

He said the writing team has a good idea of where things are headed but the challenge is getting the writing to take it there. The big reveals for the final season have to be brought out at the right time and in the right manner. He doesn’t want to let too much out of the bag too early. That has to be balanced with drawing people in and giving them the satisfying ending they want and deserve.

In a Twitter post, Sutter said he was working on a Jax and Gemma scene to which a follower replied, “I feel cheated that there won’t be anymore Jax-Tara scenes.” Sutter responded by saying there would still be a few Tig-Tara scenes.
