Drea de Matteo will have more screen time next year, according to the latest "Sons of Anarchy" season 7 spoilers. TV Line reports Jan 7 that the actress' role of Wendy Case will have a more "regular" appearance. Fans of the show have already predicted that Wendy would be more prominent since Tara (played by Maggie Siff) was brutally killed by Gemma (Katey Sagal). She is the most likely character to help Jax (Charlie Hunnam) and the kids through such a difficult time.

The report stated that the "Sons of Anarchy" news is official for Drea. She is an "official series regular." They added that moving up her character to series regular "suggests that Wendy will play a more hands-on role in the life of son Abel (and maybe Thomas, too?)."

Other season 7 spoilers can be assumed that Wendy will stick around on the show for a while. It would be awful to Abel and Thomas to also lose Wendy after losing their other mother. Even for fans, that might be too much to take for the sake of the kids and what is left of Jax's miserable life.

Will Drea de Matteo be on all the way to the end of the series finale episode?

"Sons of Anarchy" season 7 will air next Fall on FX.
