The fans of “Sons of Anarchy” might be glad to know that their favorite show is working hard behind the scenes. There has been a hiatus, but now with the upcoming season there is work to be done before the season premiere. According to Zap2It on Saturday, "Sons of Anarchy" is just beginning to shoot some season 7 promos and decided to share the behind the scene images of several cast members with the fans.

Released by FX's vice president of media relations Dominic Pagone, the images do offer a glimpse of what fans can expect, but the pictures offer more questions than answers. However, it is still great to see that the show is getting ready for the upcoming season as it feels like it has been forever since the last new episode of “Sons of Anarchy.”

There are rumors that the show will offer up many new characters for the season. According to the International Business Times, Sutter killed off a majority of his protagonists in season six leaving room for new faces. Several types of characters have been described to share with the fans. A soldier with a no nonsense attitude, a jail guard and an uptight sheriff are three characters that viewers are looking forward to seeing. There has also been speculation that Marilyn Manson will be guest starring as a heroin addict.

Viewers shouldn’t worry that fans favorites won’t be back as the popular actors of “Sons of Anarchy” are welcomed to season seven too. Kurt Sutter has suggested that Emilio Rivera Billy Brown and Robert Patrick will be seen on the show.

Looking to find the perfect balance, it appears that “Sons of Anarchy” is trying to keep the story fresh while still offering up the tone from previous episodes. Viewers expect a solid season and Kurt Sutter has his hands full to make this happen.

"Sons of Anarchy" Season 7 will premiere in fall 2014 on FX.
