On Fen. 6 Flicksided shares that season 7 of "Sons of Anarchy" may feature extra episodes than the 13 that the show is slated for.
In the latest update on WTFSutter, Kurt Sutter's YouTube series, he says that he is inquiring about extra episodes for the final season of the show, but there are many factors that might not allow for it. One of those huge factors being that it could end up putting the show over budget, and the fact that season six of "SOA" had almost 13 episodes of 90 minute episodes instead of the hour long ones it is supposed to have.
"Sons of Anarchy" is one of the most highly rates shows for the FX network, so it seems to make sense that the show would allow for the extended episodes, but it just really depends on what is going on, other show's budgets and what new shows might be coming on during the fall season.
Since there is a lot of loose ends that need to be tied up in the final season of "SOA" extra episodes would be helpful so that fans can get the whole picture of how things will play out.
How do you feel about having extra episodes of "Sons of Anarchy" for season seven? Hopefully Kurt Sutter can be persuasive enough to win this one for the fans.
