We finally have an air date for the Season 7 premiere of “Sons of Anarchy.” Mark your calendar, Deadline advised on July 17, for Tuesday, Sept. 9 as the kick off for what promises to be the best season yet. What could be better news? How about that the premiere for the final season of everyone’s favorite motorcycle club show is getting the full treatment with an extended episode. This one will run a full hour and 45 minutes according to Yahoo! Celebrity!

Immediately after the Season 7 premiere, FX will debut a live, post-show panel show called “Anarchy Afterward.” Another episode of “Anarchy Afterward will after the series finale later in in the season as well.

The rock star-heavy season will feature both Marilyn Manson and Courtney Love in recurring roles. Manson, seen in the accompanying photo in his prison garb talking to Jax (Charlie Hunnam) will play a prison big shot that helps Jax make some important connections. Love will play a preschool teacher to Jax’s eldest son, Abel.

The story will pick up shortly after the grisly murder of Jax’s wife, Tara, with Jax in prison. Manson plays a white supremacist who takes Jax under his wing. We have him to thank for the photo above. He shared it on Twitter today with this caption:

"J.T. and R.T. This isn't brunch. Tough acting like you want to kill your favorite character."

The last part is in reference to the fact that Manson has made no secret that he and his father are big fans of the show. Apparently they are fans of Jax’s too.

An extended premiere, a premiere date and photos coming out almost daily means we are getting close folks. Until the Sept. 6 premiere of Season 7 of “Sons of Anarchy” we’ll do what we can to keep you informed of the news and spoilers.
