It seems every time we turn around, someone else is joining the cast of “Sons of Anarchy’s” Season 7. According to Matt Carter on Aug. 10, the latest actress to join the club is “Gang Related’s” Inbar Lavi.
Lavi tweeted the news herself, saying “Humbled and greatful to have been invited to join the @SonsofAnarchy family on their final ride. Buckle up....” In the accompanying photo, she can be seen on set in an official “Sons of Anarchy” cast chair. Adding credence to the news is the fact that show creator Kurt Sutter retweeted her tweet.
After news that folks like Marilyn Manson, Courtney Love, Lea Michele and Malcolm Jamal-Warner have signed on to appear in Season 7, Lavi seems like an atypical addition to the cast. She was most recently seen on Fox’s “Gang Related” where she played Russian ICE agent, Veronika "Vee" Dotsen. She has also been seen on the recently failed “Charlie’s Angels” reboot and on an episode of “CSI.”
There has been no word on what role she plays or on how long her story line will play out. With this being the final season and so much at stake, there is little doubt that anyone Sutter brings in at this point is significant.
With Jax going on a chaotic rampage to avenge Tara’s murder, the tension in the final season will be tremendous. If the trailer is any indication, the series’ final ride will be bloody, violent and amazing. We’ve already heard that there will be an enormous body count and fans don’t expect many of the ‘Sons’ to be left standing when it’s over.
“Sons of Anarchy” Season 7 takes its final ride beginning Sept. 9 on FX. The premiere will be followed by a panel show, “Anarchy Afterwards.” We’ll keep you posted on further developments, news and spoilers as we get them.
