Jax has made several attempts to see Tara since she's been in prison but he won't be successful, likely because of his criminal history. It is unlikely that Tara will know that he has tried and was denied access. When they do eventually meet, their reunion will be a loving but sad one.
There is going to be a heavy feeling between the two of them as there is only so many times you can say, "I'm sorry." before it carries no meaning. There is only so many times that you can tell someone that things will get better and things will change before you stop trying to improve situations, and this is the rut that Jax and Tara are now stuck in. They love each other and their family but Tara feels that she has a duty to her children to make a better life for them and not allow them to fall victim of their father's lifestyle, but without leaving Jax it is likely impossible.
Tara will feel as if she has to go it alone because Jax is trying to take out Clay-- the person essentially responsible for all the bad things that has happened to them and SAMCRO including the death of Opie, Jax's best friend, and Tara's hand being crippled.
Tara will be making some hard decisions this season as she tries to pull herself and her kids from SAMCRO, but will she be successful?
