There has been nothing like the quintessential series "Sons of Anarchy." The drama/action has been groundbreaking and established new levels of dark excellence ever since its debut seven years ago.

(There are also many who would say that the fact that the show has never won an emmy is a travesty.)

Today the sixth season comes out on Blu- ray and DVD, just in time for the September 9th opening episode of the show's seventh and final season.

The story of outlaw bike rebel Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) and his rogue crew of ruthless, yet lovable misfits is the highest rated show on the FX network, and has a league of loyal followers.

The sixth season release honors the faithful with a cool package showing Jax in all his glory. The slip cover opens up to show the motorcycle club members in an all out knock down brawl. This is reflective of the slowly degrading state of the brotherhood that has been happening since season one.

As it was in the beginning, the sixth season saw more deaths of club members, and dwindling mayhem that would forever change the lives of each outlaw.

None of the bloody carnage will be spoiled here. Suffice to say the brawls, bikes and bone crunching action look great in Blu-ray, and if purchased at Wal Mart, the discs come with a nifty black pullover hat.

It's a great build up to what is sure to be a bloody final season and send off.
