'Sons of Anarchy' has a fantastic opening episode in the works for season six

Kurt Sutter is a masterful storyteller and he manages to release spoilers to upcoming season six of Sons of Anarchy and still not show his hand. The Harley-Davidson riding drama is currently in pre-production for the upcoming season and executive producer / writer Sutter is in the midst of writing episode 6.01. Today he alluded to the current episode being written by saying with a laugh, "Shit happens. Shit. Does. Happen!"

Sutter is meeting with FX this week to determine the course of action for the social media campaign for this upcoming season. He's hinted that the imagery for the campaign with Charlie Hunnam and Katie Sagal is "f*ckin' crazy cool".

One of the items that Sutter disclosed was that he has considered writing John Teller's manuscript since the beginning of the series; however, he knew he wouldn't do it until the series is over along with writing his autobiography, "Fat, Drunk, and Angry," as he says with a smile.

Sutter disclosed that it is hard to write for the ensemble case because each season their story lines become more complex; he does strive to tie the cast's characters to the story arc with our hero Jax in the center of it all.

The momentum is starting to ramp up for season six's debut in September and details will be posted in this column as they become available.
