The last season of "Sons of Anarchy" is about to launch, and new rumors surface every day about what will happen. Here are five teasers for the premiere episode. Note these are not based on rumors or spoiler sites, but on a screening of the premiere episode Monday, so this is not hearsay, but the real deal. But by the same token, not too much can be given away either, so with that in mind, here's some food for thought.

Before the opening credits, expect an update montage, letting us glimpse into the current situations of all the characters on the show. The music will continue a long tradition of pairing songs that would normally be considered happy or upbeat with scenes that definitely don't fit that theme. Quentin Tarantino himself would be impressed.

Someone will be brutally assaulted before the opening credits. And it is one of the more bloody, violent assaults the series has seen. You'll also wonder why this person did this until later in the show.

You'll hardly recognize Marilyn Manson, even if you know he's doing a guest role this season. He looks completely different, even considering his appearance without his trademark makeup.

Expect a very unexpected alliance, and someone who will stumble upon it putting the lives of everyone involved in jeopardy if their secret gets out. When too many people know a secret, it makes it that much harder to keep.

Don't expect Gemma (Katey Sagal) to react to Tara's murder the way you think, but always expect her to do what she does best: protect herself. Having said that, even fans who know what Gemma is capable will be shocked at how far she goes to protect herself.

Are you psyched for the premiere? The final season of "Sons of Anarchy" begins September 9 at 10 p.m. on FX.
