The USA Boxing Arizona State Championships will be held Mar. 15-16, at Sonny's Gym in Goodyear, Arizona.
USA Boxing is the governing board of amateur boxing in the United States, it promotes and practices Olympic style boxing. Many will go on to compete in the Olympic Games, and then on to pursue professional careers.
The boxers will also learn skills that will carry them outside the ring as well, learning discipline and dedication, skills that will be with them throughout their lifetime.
USA Boxing Arizona is the governing board for Arizona and is made up with approximately 700 athletes, male and female. There are 47 gyms registered with USA Boxing Arizona from around the state, overseen by 22 officials.
