Examiner: How are you?
Sonja Morgan: “I am doing well, looking forward to the premiere. I’m glad that we are back, and I love the new girl, Kristen.”
Examiner: What is going to make season 6 different from previous seasons?
Sonja Morgan: “Now the “new girls” aren’t new anymore, so that is going to make a huge difference, and now we know each other very well. This season viewers will get to see a total 180 with Heather and Carole...it’s pretty fun to watch them kind of lose it this season.”
Examiner: What will viewers expect from you and Aviva this season?
Sonja Morgan: “I don’t like to hold things inside; it’s the same way that I deal with adversity. I think what you hold inside, you wear outside...I let it go. I don’t like to ruin a party over this stuff.”
Examiner: How would you describe this season?
Sonja Morgan: “It is a complete 180, and I think that the viewers are going to be very surprise this season. It’s also obnoxious, because there were some obnoxious things that were said this season. Lastly, it is hilarious; we have never been more hilarious.”
Examiner: For this year’s trip, you and the girls go out to the west, how was that experience?
Sonja Morgan: “It was very fun, because here you have us city girls, riding horses and fishing. We’re pushing the envelope here, simply because we’re out of our comfort zones. Anytime you do an all girls trip, there are bound to be some fireworks, and with this group you have some girls who are a little set in their ways.”
Examiner: Do you think that Kristen was well embraced by the group?
Sonja Morgan: “It was so much easier to bring one new girl as opposed to three new girls at once. She was very well embraced; Ramona, LuAnn, and I are very welcoming to any new people that we meet.”
Examiner: LuAnn is not in the first three episodes, did you see less of her while filming this season?
Sonja Morgan: “I didn’t realize that she wasn’t in the first three episodes, because I filmed with her a lot, and that really surprised me. She and I do great scenes together, and has always been by my side whether it had to do with my ex-husband or my daughter’s dog.”
Examiner: How is your love life and what will viewers be seeing this season?
Sonja Morgan: “My love life is always good; I am in love with love. I love men, I think viewers are going to be surprised how young Ben is when they see him on camera, but he has an old spirit, to me, age is just a number. My first priority is my daughter and that she has a well balanced life, and no one comes before that.”
Examiner: How is Harry Dubin?
Sonja Morgan: “He’s great, and gets how important my daughter is to me. He comes from a religious background and he’s a great father. Viewers are going to have to tune in this season, dating is a strong word when it comes to Harry, and he understands that my daughter is my world.”
Examiner: What can viewers expect from you this season?
Sonja Morgan: “I am working on an international fashion lifestyle brand. I did go to FIT and I am a marketing person, and I met with several department stores, and they had a bigger vision for me and my brand. Viewers are going to see me creating my recipes and me working hard on this lifestyle brand. I want to show people that they can live a life of luxury wherever they are.”
Examiner: Lastly, how was it to film during the summer of New York and did that make a difference during filming?
Sonja Morgan: “Filming in the summer is a lot of light and a chance to show off bright sunlight, skin, bikinis, and the outdoors of our homes. The downside of being in the summer was that we didn’t get to show a lot of fashion, like last year when we went to London. It’s all good, and it was definitely a plus.”
