Mike DiBiase, the eldest son of former WWE star and Hall of Fame wrestler Ted DiBiase, was arrested in the early morning hours of January 23, 2014 after a 12 hour stand-off with police.

The incident took place in Amarillo, TX and DiBiase was hiding from police after a tip was received that a suspect wanted on a violation warrant was hiding in a building that housed several businesses.

DiBiase was wanted on a warrant stemming from a previous arrest where he was charged with tampering with evidence, destruction of evidence and hindering apprehension.

Police were cautious in their attempt to apprehend DiBiase due to reports that he may have had weapons and with a number of places to hide police were apprehensive about moving in too quickly.

A remote controlled robot was sent in to draw DiBiase out by using chemical sprays and he was eventually found hiding under a pile of boxes.

Amarillo police Sergeant Brent Barbee said this of the arrest; "This was probably one of the most difficult building searches I have ever seen the guys on the swat team take on, just from my point of view. It was a large building that was subdivided into smaller areas, there were small offices that had false roofs inside, there were a large number of boxes and shipping containers, there was a lot of furniture, there were small rooms."

After the robot entered the building and released the chemical agents SWAT team members stormed the building and took DiBiase into custody.

Ted DiBiase took to Twitter to ask fans and friends to pray for his son saying, "Please pray for my oldest son Mike. He's been arrested again and is in jail. Pray that God would break his pride and he would grow up."
