Producers Roma Downey and Mark Burnett, of the record breaking TV miniseries, “The Bible” are looking forward to the release of their new movie, ‘The Son of God’, which is scheduled to open in 3000 theaters on February 28.

This movie will be the first “major motion picture on the complete life of Jesus Christ in 50 years,” and is prompting church leaders across the nation to launch a “National Theater-Take-Over” campaign for the ‘Son of God’ movie. Simply put, this movie will be taking over “several multiplexes nationwide on Thursday, February 27, (the day before it debuts on 3000 screens), and will be shown on every screen in the theater at the same time.

This long awaited, ground breaking movie, has been endorsed by many “high-profile leaders from across the spectrum of denominations,” including mega-church pastors, Joel Osteen (Lakewood Church, Houston TX), Bishop TD Jakes (Potters House), and Rick Warren (Saddleback Church, Lake Forest CA).
