The Atlanta metro has no shortage of churches, being in the heart of the Bible belt. Many hold to traditional Christian values and teachings, while others desire to have a more modern and upbeat message. The message of Jesus is rooted in redemption and hope.
“Son of God,” the movie is coming to theatres on February 28th. The movie has an MPAA rating of PG-13.
Directed by Christopher Spencer, and written by Richard Bedser, Christopher Spencer, Colin Swash, and Nic Young, promises to portray, “The life story of Jesus is told from his humble birth through his teachings, crucifixion and ultimate resurrection.” The movie stars, Diogo Morgado, Amber Rose, Revah, Greg Hicks, and many others.
“Son of God,” is a 2014 American Biblical drama epic film based on Mark Barnett and Roma Downey’s ten hour miniseries, “The Bible.” The film will feature selections of the miniseries, along with deleted scenes not selected for the series. The Bible miniseries ratings confounded Hollywood with its record breaking ratings.
So while many would like to disclaim His very existence, over 2000 years later, He is still impacting lives and the “Son of God” is still making it to the big screen.
If you want to make a statement and show Hollywood that we appreciate family friendly, good moves, a good way is to go on opening night of this movie. They saw the ratings on the Bible miniseries and were confounded.
