Punk rockers Something Called Nothing are performing at the Pecan Street Fall Festival in Austin on the Red River stage at 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, September 28. You may remember them from a past performance at one of Austin Retro Music Examiner's legendary house parties or from one of their many shows at Headhunter's on Red River.
SCN's lineup includes Jason Sanchez on bass guitar, James Garcia on drums and Virginia Lopez on vocals and guitar. Examiner interviewed Virginia of Something Called Nothing about their upcoming show. She said, "We have something brewing for October 3 at Infest and we have a show in Ft. Worth November 16 at LoLa's Saloon."
Virginia stated, "As far as Pecan Street Fall Festival goes, we are super excited to be playing one of our hometown's awesome festivals. Not to mention that we are sharing the stage with a great bunch of local musicians."
Another notable local band performing at the Pecan Street Fall Festival is Stükenberg , performing on the Trinity stage on Saturday at 1:05 p.m. Stükenberg is set to release their third album, 'Novella' on November 12.
