The arts community of Somerville will be coming together on May 1st and 2nd (12-6pm each day) for the 12th annual Somerville Open Studios. Each year the Somerville Open Studios offers a unique an opportunity for the public to visit artists in their creative work spaces. This FREE citywide event showcases established and emerging artists working across a broad spectrum of fine art styles and craft mediums such as painting, sculpture, photography, fiber, jewelry, clay, glass and furniture.


Of special note are artists Basil El Halwagy located at 437 Somerville Avenue, Vanessa R. Thompson exhibiting at Little House Studios, 60 Linden Avenue, and Tova Speter working at the Vernon Street Studios, 6 Vernon Street.
