Public response has increased following profiling information police are sharing in the search for Somer Thompson's killer.

Resulting from a 10/28 list of potential suspect behavioral traits ,devised by Clay County Sheriff's Office (Florida), the Orange Park law enforcement agency experienced an "increase in calls," according to CCSO spokesperson, Mary Justino's midday media briefing.

In the most recent advisory, Justino also says that the combined teams of Clay County detectives, U.S. Marshals, plus FBI Florida Department of Law Enforcement and specialists are pooling resources of other Florida jurisdictions, including nearby Jacksonville's Duval County police.

A forthcoming update wil be provided later today, according to Justino. She adds that while "no on-camera briefings or interviews are planned for today or tomorrow," the CCSO will call a press conference, in the event of any major developments in the tragic case of the slain Orange Park first-grader.

Somer Thompson was buried on Tuesday, Oct. 27, following memorial services at First Baptist Church of Orange Park, Florida.

As her funeral procession slowly made its way to Jacksonville Memory Gardens, her community--including family, friends and absolute strangers drawn to the public memorial services--sent up symbolic purple balloons and held purple-themed banners proclaiming their sorrow-tinged support.

Following the memorial service, where the Rev. David Tarkington recounted the good times of Somer's brief life, in balloons buoyed by strong emotion, the public aired sentiment tightly binding the North Florida region, where anger-fueled determination to find Somer's killer continues to motivate many.

After the funeral, Somer's mother released a letter thanking the community for extensive support and for the "embrace" she and her family received: from spiritual to financial aid, including hotel lodging, along with food delivered to Thompson's Orange Park residence.

In a bulletin just released, CCSO spokesperson Mary Justino states, "teams of detectives from multiple agencies continue to work on the Somer Thompson case today and are following up on many new leads."

"Beyond that," Justino concludes in today's final scheduled briefing, "I do not have any updated information ... "

Of course the calls increased the list of 'traits' could apply to almost anyone who is going through any type of hard time in this economy. Increased drinking or smoking or sleep changes? Sounds like someone underemployeed or facing foreclosure.

In fact I would think some one capable of this awful crime would not have normal human emotion or reaction to stress.

What good are more tips if they are false leads?

...get whoever has done this. This is one of the most upsetting things that I can think of... I'm hoping there will be a break in this case soon. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and community. I know I wouldn't feel safe for my little girl at all until someone was caught.

I beleive hey are waiting for DNA and other forensic evidence to make an arrest, but our watching the demented evil demon like a hawk. He will be caught and he will get the justice Somer deserves not just from our legal system (death penalty), but from prison inmates (the best justice Somer can get on earth) and from God's justice (eternity --existing forever with no end--being tortured beyond human comprehension in hell). These sicko thinks he can do this and has no fear of consequences because he thinks there are none. He has no idea what awaits his existence once caught both here on earth ad the thereafter. We mourn Somer's loss because of what she went through with this demon and what it will do to her familoy and us while on earth, but Somer's eteral existence is with Jesus in Heaven with joy and peace that we cannot comprehend on earth. She will never see evil again. Somer's killer is going where he will never have peace and will be tortured forever.
