Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin mixes up an otherwise boring Thursday night

Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin

Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin has now been active for 7 years and after signing to Polyvinyl Records in 2006, they've filled their time making their way across this great land of ours.

While along their recent travels, they made a stop at the Brick in Kansas City. With supporting sounds like Joe Firstman, it was quite the night for music.

For a band that's said to possibly be the next Shins, automatically SSLYBY has some standards to live up to. But they do it with ease. Their music is in a class by itself and is perfectly balanced between each musician on stage. The melodies flowed over the audience like a gentle stream of indie pop. With each number, there were distinctive guitar riffs, enchanting vocals and a succession of drums that not only kept the perfect beat but also kept the members of the audiences dancing ever so slightly.

Everyone at the show fully enjoyed themselves and for a band that has already had such success, it was a true treat for a Kansas City visit!
