Finally! A day above average! The average high at Philly International is 50 and we upped that by eight under plenty of sunshine(with highs clouds in the afternoon)! This was after a seasonable low of 35(we should be around 32...but who's complaining?).
Of course Winter isn't over just yet and overnight with a cold front pushing through temperatures will hover around the freezing mark so don't be shocked to see a few wet snowflakes mixed in with the light rain. Don't worry; it's all done by the morning and we'll have a sunny Sunday afternoon with highs in the middle 40s.
If you enjoyed the mild weather on Saturday it shall return on Monday with highs in the lower 50s; we can do at least five better come Tuesday with highs flirting with 60! Of course it will not last as on Wednesday we'll have clouds with a potent low pressure area providing mostly rain(snow well north and west). Highs on Wednesday will be in the middle 40s, but once colder air filters in overnight into Thursday temperatures will fall and we may even see some wet snow on the back end!
So for now just keep the thoughts on 50s in your mind and you can check out the rest of the 7-day forecast(any time) at www.scottderekwx.com/forecast.html.
