The Hub:

New this year to Art Days, the hub at Grand Central Park at Miami Worldcenter is a central location where visitors can park their cars, pick up information about events and activities, get help planning their Art Days itinerary, design their own Art Days t-shirt and traverse Downtown on our dedicated Art Days trolley, via the Metromover, by bike or by a Car2Go.
The Hub will be open Sep 20, 21, 22 from 9:30am to 6:30pm at 700 N Miami Ave.

A Poetic Reality: Magical Realism of the CINTAS Fellows Collection

Featuring artworks by 10 artists, including José Mijares and Ernesto de la Vega Pujol, and compositions by CINTAS music composition fellows Tania Leon and Orlando Jacinto Garcia, the exhibition explores the theoretical structure of Magical Realism; a mid-20th century Latin American literary movement.

BasFisher Invitational at the DWNTWN Art House

BFI is an artist run space dedicated to creativity, experimentation, and discourse in contemporary art. It aims to create a bridge between Miami and the International art world by curating a program that alternates between local and global. BFI is committed to building the Miami arts community by offering support for artist projects, in particular, WEIRD MIAMI, a platform for exhibitions and public programming that takes a behind the scenes look at the city and its artistic offerings. BFI is a not-for-profit funded primarily by grants, donations, and the sale of print editions.

BFI is located within the DWNTWN Art House, made possible through the support of Miami Worldcenter.

Dimensions Variable at the DWNTWN Art House

Dimensions Variable is an exhibition space interested in advancing artistic discourse in Miami.

Dimensions Variable has been providing a forum for contemporary art since 2009. Its focus is to invite national and international artists to exhibit and discuss their work alongside locally based artists. The space is sponsored by Miami Worldcenter and is a Knight Arts Challenge Grant recipient from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.

Dimensions Variable is run by Adler Guerrier, Leyden Rodriguez-Casanova and Frances Trombly.
