Happy Friday! Technically, this is my Monday but oh well. Yesterday I made my first trip to ULTA and bought all kinds of goodies. I love it and even got a rewards card, saving me quite a bit. I decided to give a quick list of what I bought as a vast review. Enjoy!
NYX Matte Lipstick: I got Tea Rose and LOVE IT! Probably my most favorite out of the bunch. Technically, I already had this lip color brand in mind because I heard good things but was too impatient to order it online. I am very happy, doesn't smudge and truly a great matte.
NYX Gel: I have the option to wear this as eyeliner or shadow. There were a few shades; I went with the dark brown. This product is perfect for the dark, smoky eye look.
Prestige Eyeshadow: I found this Cloud cream color in the lovely clearance for $1.99. You can’t go wrong with a light, creamy, shimmer shadow. Happy.
Yes to Cucumbers Facial Towelettes: I wanted wipes that not only took off my makeup gently but also cleanse my face for those busy days. I had my eye on Neutrogena but finally decided on this one because it was an Allure award winner in 2011. It did the job, but the smell was too much for my taste; keep in mind that the smell is strong.
Neutrogena Natural Night Cream: After using No. 7 night cream for the past few months, it was time to buy some more. Because my skin is not always 100% clear of acne, I wanted to be sure to get a cream not only for anti-aging but one that won’t clog my pores and also prevent pimples. I used this once, the smell is not as great as No. 7 but I was left with soft, non-oily skin once the cream was applied. I think the choice is off to a good start!
Develop 10 Yellow Buster: This one is kind of embarrassing. After a while of constantly wearing nail polish (guilty pleasure), our nails can start to turn yellow. That is just what happened to me as well as color stains. I thought I would give this one a try to get them whiter and prevent turning yellow. I put it on my direct nail, twice. I have not seen results unfortunately, but it may be one of those things where it will do it over time if I continue the process. Looks like I have to wait on this one a bit longer.
